Feilim has 20+ years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and leads the Fieldfisher Ireland Corporate and Commercial Team. Feilim has extensive experience advising clients, including those in the technology sector on commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance issues, and outsourcing agreements. Additionally Feilim advises on M & A deals, joint ventures, venture capital transactions and project finance.

Examples of Feilim’s work includes:

• Advised an international banking software developer over a number of years on all software development, licensing and maintenance arrangements with Irish banks and other providers. This included advice on intellectual property ownership and protection, source and object code integrity, limitation on liability, change management, information security and data protection.
• Advised and negotiated for a large outsourcing company on a variety of contractual and legal issues including the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of bespoke commercial agreements, a technical security services installation agreement, a review of its standard services agreement, software licensing, outsourcing services, intellectual property rights, subcontracting, service level agreements, parent company guarantees, data protection compliance, limitation of liability caps and termination rights.
• Advised a public sector body on contractual arrangements between them and a supplier in connection with a data hosting platform to be used for the purposes of critical enquiries.
